Wide Width Golf Shoes: Six Pairs for Men and Women, by Width
Six golf shoes sold in a wide option, 2E and 4E or Wide and Extra Wide, for men and women, with the sizes each width covers, the traction and a price for each.

By the back nine, the outside of each foot is pressing against the upper, and the golf shoe that felt fine in the shop pinches on each walk to the ball. Buying a longer size to get the room can leave the heel slipping during the swing. Below are six golf shoes whose makers sell a wide option, three for men, two for women and one in unisex sizes, with the label each maker uses, the sizes each width comes in and a price for each.

| Nike Infinity G NN (Wide) | Women above size 11; ties FitVille as lowest price | $80.00 | Unisex, Wide / Extra wide (Nike uses both), M3.5 / W5 to M16 / W17.5 |
| Skechers GO GOLF Arch Fit Line Up 2.0, men’s | Men who want a spikeless slip-in | $111 (gray) | Medium or Extra Wide; Extra Wide in men’s 7 to 14 (gray) |
| Sqairz SPEED3 | Men who want replaceable spikes | $189 | Standard or Wide; Wide in men’s 8 to 13 |

What wide means on each page
Each maker labels its widths its own way. FitVille prints letters, Wide/2E and Extra Wide/4E. Skechers offers Medium and Extra Wide on the men’s Line Up 2.0 and Wide on the women’s, with no letters. Sqairz pairs Wide with Standard, PAYNTR pairs it with Medium, and Nike sells a separate version of the shoe that its title calls Wide and its fit note calls extra wide. So a Wide from one maker is not necessarily a 2E from another (our reading). On the four pages that sell both widths under one product (FitVille, the men’s Skechers, Sqairz, PAYNTR), the wide option cost the same as the standard one on 1 October (our check of each page).
Nike puts a figure on the difference, and two of its golf pages give different ones. The Pegasus 1 G (Wide) page says “Wide shoes have approximately 1/4” (6.35mm) more girth in the toe box than regular width shoes.” The Infinity G NN (Wide) page, below, gives about 1/2 inch for extra wide.

The six picks
FitVille Men's SpeedEx V4
If your foot is past a regular wide, start here: it is the one pick of the six labelled 4E. FitVille’s SpeedEx V4 page lists Wide/2E and Extra Wide/4E for each of its 13 sizes, US 8 to 15, in both colours, at one price. FitVille says its “Roomy toe box offers ample space for toes to spread freely & naturally”, and lists an OrthoLite insole, a dual-density EVA midsole, a TPU piece at the midfoot and an “Enhanced six-spike slip-resistant rubber outsole”. It gives the weight as about 390 grams in a US 9. The same page carries a men’s size and width guide with a range for each width at each size from US 8 to 16; see How to choose.
Drawbacks: Men's only, and the size list stops at 15, with no half sizes above 12.5. The upper is microfiber leather, so it is not the pick if you want a light mesh shoe (our reading).
Nike Infinity G NN (Wide)
It and the FitVille are the two $80 picks; for women, or past a men’s 15, it is the $80 option. Nike’s wide version of the Infinity G NN is sized unisex, from M3.5 / W5 to M16 / W17.5, the longest size run of the six picks (our count). Nike titles it “Golf Shoes (Wide)”, while the fit note on the same page reads “Extra wide shoes have approximately 1/2” (1.27cm) more girth in toe box than regular width shoes.” Nike lists a water-repellent finish, a waffle-inspired outsole with wet-traction rubber, and lightweight foam in the midsole. Both colourways of the wider version showed $80.
Drawbacks: The page says it fits small and recommends ordering a half size up. It is titled Wide, while its fit note says Extra wide.
Skechers Slip-ins GO GOLF Arch Fit Line Up 2.0 (men's)
For a spikeless shoe that goes on hands-free. The men’s Line Up 2.0 page offers Medium and Extra Wide, and in Extra Wide lists men’s 7 to 14 for the gray pair, in half sizes up to 13. Skechers lists Hands Free Slip-ins with a Heel Pillow, adjustable laces on a leather, mesh and synthetic upper, a removable Arch Fit insole, a water-repellent finish and a spikeless Goodyear performance outsole, on a 1 1/4-inch heel.
Drawbacks: Skechers gives Extra Wide no letter, so it cannot be lined up against a 2E or 4E chart. No half sizes above 13.
Sqairz SPEED3
The pick with replaceable spikes, for golfers who want cleats they can replace. On the SPEED3 page, Sqairz lists six replaceable Pivix Softspikes alongside 290+ traction lugs on a TPU outsole, an EVA foam midsole, a microfiber upper, on a shoe it calls waterproof, and a “Patented Roomier Toe Box Geometry”. Its FAQ says “Our shoes are a standard width shoe, however we have added in room in the toe area to allow your toes to spread naturally”, and the same page also sells a Wide, in Navy Surge and Midnight Pulse, in men’s 8 to 13 with half sizes up to 11.5.
Drawbacks: Wide comes in fewer sizes than Standard and in two of the four colours. The most expensive of the six picks.
Skechers Slip-ins GOLF Arch Fit Line Up 2.0 Wide (women's)
Of the two women’s-sized picks, this one has the longer Wide size run, 5.5 to 11 against 8.5 to 10. The women’s Wide page offers Wide only, in white or navy/pink, and lists women’s 5.5 to 11 for the white pair. Its feature list matches the men’s shoe on the slip-in heel with a Heel Pillow, adjustable laces, the removable Arch Fit insole, the water-repellent finish and the spikeless Goodyear performance outsole, with an engineered mesh upper and Soft Stride cushioning foam.
Drawbacks: No 10.5 and nothing above 11 on the Wide page. As on the men's shoe, the width has no letter.
PAYNTR Sport Classic LE (Womens)
For a leather women’s shoe with a waterproof lining. The Sport Classic LE page lists Medium and Wide; Wide comes in White/Black/Metallic Silver, in 8.5, 9, 9.5 and 10. PAYNTR lists a full-grain leather upper, a “breathable membrane fused to the lining and sealed with a waterproof bottom gasket”, an OrthoLite footbed, a PMXNITROGEN+ midsole, a PMXSpeed PLT propulsion plate and a TPU outsole.
Drawbacks: Wide comes in four sizes, 8.5 to 10, and in one of its two colours. Outside those sizes, look at the Skechers or the Nike.

How to choose
- Measure across the widest part of your foot. Our guide on how to measure foot size at home covers the paper and tape method.
- Men: hold the number against FitVille’s guide. On the general men’s size and width guide on the SpeedEx V4 page, a US 10 reads 99.8–108 mm under Medium/D, 108–113 under Wide/2E and 113–118 under Extra Wide/4E; a US 12 reads 107.0–115, 115–121 and 121–127. We read those columns as foot widths (our reading). In the 2E column, the FitVille in 2E is the direct match; the other men’s picks sell a Wide or Extra Wide with no letter, so compare them on your feet.
- Past the 4E column? The guide has an XX-Wide/6E column, but the SpeedEx is sold only to 4E, and none of the six picks is labelled wider.
- Women: start from your size. In 5.5 to 11, the Skechers Wide (white); in 8.5 to 10, the PAYNTR if you want leather; above 11, the Nike, which prints the women’s size after the men’s.
- Spikes or not. Replaceable spikes: the Sqairz. A six-spike rubber outsole: the FitVille. Spikeless: the two Skechers.

Before you order
- Choose the width before the size. On two of the six picks, Wide comes in fewer sizes: on the SPEED3, Wide runs 8 to 13 against 7 to 14 in Standard; on the PAYNTR, 8.5 to 10 against 5.5 to 10.5 in Medium.
- Size up where the maker says so. Nike’s Infinity G NN (Wide) page says it fits small and recommends a half size up.
- Check you have the wider version. On Nike, the wide Infinity G NN is style FN0565, titled “Golf Shoes (Wide)”; check that code under Product Details. Skechers’ women’s Wide also has its own code, 123157W.
- Read the letters by gender. Men’s and women’s width letters do not line up one to one; our guide to shoe width sizes explains them.
- Try them indoors first. Wear them with golf socks on a hard floor at home before the course, so the wrong width can still go back. Check each maker’s return terms before you order.
Where these numbers come from
Widths, size lists, features and prices were read on each maker’s product page on 1 October 2026; Skechers prices are for the colour named, and Nike’s for the colourways of its wider version. The width ranges are from FitVille’s general men’s size and width guide, and the toe-box girth figures are Nike’s.
Frequently asked questions
Do golf shoes come in wide widths?
Yes. Each of the six picks here has a wide option on its maker's page, under the maker's own label: Wide/2E and Extra Wide/4E at FitVille, Extra Wide on the men's Skechers and Wide on the women's, Wide / Extra wide at Nike (Nike uses both), and Wide at Sqairz and PAYNTR. Pick the width first: on the Sqairz and the PAYNTR, the wide option comes in fewer sizes than the standard one.
Is there a 4E golf shoe?
Of the six picks, the FitVille SpeedEx V4 is the one labelled 4E: Extra Wide/4E, in men's US 8 to 15, at $80.00 (reference price). The men's Skechers Line Up 2.0 is sold in Extra Wide, but its page gives that width no letter, so we do not call it 4E.
Are there women's wide golf shoes?
Two women's picks: the Skechers Slip-ins GOLF Arch Fit Line Up 2.0 in Wide, women's 5.5 to 11 (white), and the PAYNTR Sport Classic LE (Womens), whose Wide runs 8.5 to 10. Above a women's 11, the Nike Infinity G NN (Wide) is sized unisex up to M16 / W17.5.
How much wider is a wide golf shoe?
It depends on the maker. Nike's Pegasus 1 G (Wide) page says about 1/4 inch (6.35 mm) more girth in the toe box than regular width, and its Infinity G NN (Wide) page says about 1/2 inch (1.27 cm) for extra wide. FitVille's general men's guide prints 108–113 mm under Wide/2E and 113–118 mm under Extra Wide/4E for a US 10; it does not say what those figures measure (we read them as foot widths).
