Size the jacket and the trousers separately

Every suit here is two listings: order the jacket from your bust and the trousers or skirt from your hips. On Kasper’s plus size chart, 18W is a 47-inch bust and 51-inch hip, and 24W a 52-inch bust and 57-inch hip. So a 52-inch bust with 51-inch hips reads as a 24W jacket and 18W trousers on that chart, by our reading. The same chart puts two W sizes under each X: 14W and 16W are 1X, 18W and 20W 2X, 22W and 24W 3X.

Wildfang sells its blazers in letter sizes and its trousers in W sizes, each with its own body chart: 3X is a 53 to 57-inch chest and 54 to 58-inch hip, and 24W, on the trouser listings’ chart, a 56 to 58-inch hip. Universal Standard prints garment measurements instead, with a column mapping its labels to conventional sizes: L (22–24) is 3X and 4XL (38–40) is 7X, and the All Day Classic Blazer in L (22–24) measures 51 inches around the chest.
